Butler Blue-White Football Game To Be Broadcast On Big Play Radio

Butler's annual Blue-White spring football game will be broadcast on Big Play Radio Sports on Saturday, April 19. The broadcast is scheduled from 10:30 a.m. until 12 noon and will feature play-by-play calls of the intra-squad contest, along with special guest interviews, including head coach Jeff Voris. The broadcast of the game will be carried live on bigplayproductions.com. The game also will air in the Butler campus area on FM 100.1. Butler's flagship station for football, XL 950AM, will join the live broadcast from 11am-noon. Brian Giffin, voice of Butler Football since 2002 will host the broadcast and will be joined by color analyst Ken LaRose. "As the program continues to move forward, we feel it is important that we make strides with the broadcast coverage." Giffin said. "We're really excited about the direction the program is headed in and are very pleased to be a part of it." Big Play Radio Sports will begin its seventh year broadcasting Butler football when the Bulldogs face Albion in the season-opener on Sept. 6.
