Indianapolis, Ind. - The Butler men's tennis team continued its dominance of Horizon League foes on Saturday (April 5), as the Bulldogs defeated visiting Youngstown State in convincing fashion, 7-0, at Park Tudor High School.

The win moves Butler to 10-10 on the year and 4-0 in league play.

The No. 2 doubles tandem of Ben Raynauld and Bryce Warren got things started for the Bulldogs, cruising to an 8-0 win, before Sam Brown and Brandon Bayliss notched an 8-3 decision at No. 3 to secure the doubles point.

The overwhelming play continued in singles competition, as the Bulldogs claimed two-set victories in all six bouts.

Warren kept his recent run of success going with a strong showing at No. 3 singles, dropping only one game in scoring a 6-0, 6-1 win for his ninth-straight singles decision. Raynauld (No. 2), Bayliss (No. 4) and David Dollins (No. 6) each boasted 6-1, 6-1 wins in their respective bouts, while Brown chipped in a 6-3, 6-2 triumph at No. 5.

Eric Breitenbach sealed the sweep at No. 1, holding off stubborn competition for a 6-3, 7-6 (6) victory.

The win gives the Bulldogs their 48th-straight victory over Horizon League opponents, a streak that dates back to the 1996 season.

Butler returns to action on Sunday (April 6) when it hosts Cleveland State beginning at 12:00 noon at Park Tudor High School.
