Indianapolis, Ind. - It wasn't in the match they had hoped for, but the Butler men's tennis team closed out the 2008 campaign on a winning note, as the Bulldogs scored a 4-0 victory over Green Bay to capture third place in the Horizon League Championship on Sunday (April 27) at North Central High School.

Ben Raynauld and Bryce Warren got things started at No. 2 doubles, rolling to an 8-1 decision over Matt Clegg and Matt Keesey before Green Bay tied things up with a decision at No. 3.

Eric Breitenbach and Chris Herron scored the deciding victory at No. 1, however, topping Tim Prudlow and Mark Goldin, 8-6.

Butler then scored three straight-set victories in singles play to claim the sweep. Breitenbach notched a 6-2, 6-2 win at the top spot, Raynauld added a 6-2, 6-3 win at No. 2 and Warren cruised to a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 4.
