IRVING, Texas - Knut Syversen earned Conference USA Male Track and Field Athlete of the week honors, after posting a personal-best weekend as he placed in the top six in each event at the John McDonnell Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark. He first qualified for NCAA regionals with a fourth-place finish in the shot put with a mark of 17.06m (55-11.75"). This ranks him second in the league. He also placed third in the hammer with a mark of 52.81m (173-3") and sixth in the discus with a mark of 46.13m (151-4").
