IRVING, Texas - SMU's Kelly Kraft is this week's Conference USA Men's Golfer of the Week after claiming medalist honors at the Louisiana Classic Golf Tournament on Tuesday. His efforts helped SMU claim a second-place finish. East Carolina's Emilie Lind is the Women's Golfer of the Week. Lind recorded her fourth top-five finish of the season and helped the Pirates to their fifth-consecutive team title this season.

MEN'S GOLFER OF THE WEEK (3/12)
KELLY KRAFT - SMU

Kraft, a freshman, carded a final-round 70 to win the Louisiana Classic Golf Tournament at the Oakbourne Country Club on Tuesday. Kraft's three-round total of 5-under 211 (73-68-70) was three shots better than runner-up Jordan Utley of Richmond. As a team, SMU finished second at 11-over 875, trailing only champion Colorado. The weekly award is the first of Kraft's young career.

WOMEN'S GOLFER OF THE WEEK (3/12)
EMILIE LIND - East Carolina

Lind recorded her fourth top-five finish of the season claiming second place at the Pinehurst Challenge with 5-over par 221 (75-74-72) finishing four strokes out of first place. She helped the Pirates, who are nationally ranked 20th by Golfweek, 28th by Golf World and 29th by Golfstat, to their fifth consecutive team title and sixth in seven events this season. Lind recorded 37 pars on the weekend, which led the tournament field, and ranked third in par-4 scoring (+5) and tied for fifth in par-5 scoring (-1). In her 34 career tournaments, she has a 77.04 stroke average, which ranks third all-time in school history. Lind has recorded six top-10 finishes and 14 top-20's in her career. This is Lind's second career weekly honor and second in 2007-08 (Oct. 17).
