Eighth-Seeded Cal Women's Tennis Gears Up For Army

The Golden Bears will begin their road to the NCAA Championships by hosting Army in the first round

BERKELEY - The eighth-seeded California women's tennis team will open up play in the 2008 NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Tournament by hosting Army in an 11 a.m. match this Friday, May 9 at the Hellman Tennis Complex in Berkeley, Calif. The Golden Bears will also play host to a first-round match between Washington State and Louisiana State set to begin at 2 p.m.

The winners of the two matches will face each other in the second round in a noon match on Saturday, May 10.
