JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - The Carson-Newman Eagles baseball team is ranked 28th in this week's NCAA Division II Collegiate Baseball Poll. This is the first time this season the Eagles have been ranked in the poll. Carson-Newman (13-6, 6-3 SAC) moves into the poll on the strength of a 4-0 week, which included a three-game sweep of Mars Hill. The Eagles play host to Pfeiffer tomorrow afternoon, before travelling to Newberry on the weekend for a three-game South Atlantic Conference Series with the Indians.
