GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- The schedule for this weekend's South Region Classic, to be held Saturday at Pioneer Park on the Tusculum College campus this weekend, has changed. Carson-Newman (40-16) is now schedule to face Lenoir-Rhyne in a single game on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. in Greeneville, Tennessee. L-R will face Tusculum immediately following their matchup with the Eagles. C-N is currently fourth in the NCAA Division II South Regional Poll, behind top-seeded Tampa, as well as South Atlantic Conference foes Tusculum and Catawba, who are second and third respectively. Lynn, Florida Tech, Nova Southeastern, and Florida Southern, all from the Sunshine State Conference with Tampa, round out the eight ranked teams. The top six teams in the regional poll earn NCAA bids, with Tusculum and Stillman (SIAC) having already earned automatic bids by winning the conference tournaments. 2008 South Region Classic
