ROCK HILL, S.C. --- Elizabeth Sneed of Carson-Newman College has been named the South Atlantic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week announced league officials Tuesday.

Sneed, a sophomore from Kingsport, Tenn., won all four of her matches on the week as the Lady Eagles went 2-0, recording wins over Brevard (7-2) at Tusculum (5-4).

Sneed accounted for two critical points in the home win over Tusculum. At No. 3 singles, she won 7-5, 6-3 over Tusculum's Bronwyn Hartley. She also posted an 8-3 doubles win with teammate Cassie Moulton as C-N took over sole possession of first place in the conference. The SAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week is selected by a vote of the league's sports information directors.
