Sword's Golfers Attain New Low Rounds

March 29, 2007

Turtle Bay, HI- In it's short existence, Chaminade Golf continues to grow. In the last match of the year on Oahu for the Chaminade Men's Golf Team, both Kyle Neuman and Darren Wong shot their collegiate lows on the Palmer Course of 81 and 85 respectively.

"We are not where we want to be yet, but the we are all excited to see where we are headed" stated Coach Maggiolino. "The opportunities the players have to get better are continuing to improve and we are excited to head to Phoenix."

Jon Ichimura continued his steady play, carding an 82, to mark the third solid score for Chaminade, between Neuman's 81 and Wong's 85.

BYU-Hawaii swept both medalist and team honors on the day, coming in at a team score of 305 and Kyle Kunioka's 73 was good enough for medalist.

Chaminade concludes the regular season at Palm Valley Golf Course in Goodyear, AZ, which is the site of the PacWest Championships from April 1-3.
