Chaminade Falls to UH-Hilo 81-72

Hilo, HI- The Swords fell tonight by a score of 81-72. Chaminade was down 41-29 at the break and the Vulcans handled a furious rally to hold on for the victory. John Smith and Perry Baggett each had 19 points for the Vulcans. Four Swords were in double figures. The Swords came back from a nineteen point deficit to cut the lead to two before timely free throws and rebounds sealed the UH-Hilo victory. Chaminade shot one free throw in the second half. CUH falls to 16-6,11-2 with the loss, the Vulcans move to 10-8,6-5 with the win The two teams meet again tomorrow at 7:30 PM in UHH Gym.
