Not This Time: Swords Slice HPU 93-68
Feb. 23, 2007 Honolulu, HI- Coming off a tough loss can be difficult. Tonight, however, was not the case, as Chaminade handled the Sea Warriors from start to finish in a 93-68 blowout win. The Swords came out early and led 47-30 at the break. The second half was more of the same, as CUH was in control the entire way in the second half with the lead between 25 and 30 points throughout. Chaminade had four players in double figures including Whiting. Stewart Kussler had 16 points, while Marko Kolaric added 11 points and 9 rebounds. Hayden Heiber added 10 points, while Darrell Birton and Mike Green each added 9. CUH shot 50% from the floor and 47% from three. The Swords also outrebounded HPU 37-30 on the evening. Chaminade improves to 15-11 on the year with the win. CUH finishes the regular season against UH-Hilo in Hilo, HI. Game time is set for 4PM on Thursday, March 1st.
