CUH MBB: Swords win 20th, Defeat NDNU 75-58

Belmont, CA- In the final game of the regular season, the Swords left no doubt that they would be playing in the post season with a 75-58 win over the Argos of NDNU. CUH went up double digits in the early minutes and the game stayed that way throughout. The win marks the 20th win of the Silversword season, a new regular and post-season record for Chaminade, breaking the 19 win record set in 2005-06. CUH dominated the rebounding battle, winning the battle of the glass 51-22. Marko Kolaric added to Heiber's double-double with one of his own, amassing 13 points and 16 rebounds on the evening. Stewart Kussler added 18 points and 8 rebounds in the victory. Chaminade shot 42% from the floor, while NDNU was held to 36% shooting. With the win, Chaminade improves to 20-7, 15-3 in the Pac West. NDNU falls to 10-16, 6-12 in conference play. The Swords now await the NCAA West Regional in two weeks.
