Phoenix, Az- Mark Twain once said, "The miracle, or the power, that elevates is to be found in their perseverance under the promptings of a brave, determined sprit." CUH concluded it's road trip tonight when they took on Grand Canyon University, they lost 87 to 36. The Silverswords are still in search of their first victory of the season.

Chaminade was led by Senior Simrin Cummins who scored 17 points, Cummins also had 5 boards off the glass for the Silverswords. CUH shot 75% from the charity line, Simrin Cummins went 3 for 3 and Camille Moody went 2 for 2 from the line.

GCU was led by Sara Dalgliesh who scored 27 points; She was 12 for 15 from the floor and grabbed 10 boards for the Antelopes.

With the loss, the Silverswords fall to 0-16, 0-9 in the Pac West and Grand Canyon improves to 13-9 and 9-2 in Pac West play. The next game for CUH is on January 30th at home against rival HPU. Tip off is set for 5:30PM HST.
