Honolulu, HI- Chaminade took on Hawaii Pacific University at home tonight and came up short losing 69 to 55. This was the third time the Silverswords have played HPU, CUH led going into halftime 33 to 28. Despite being down at the break, HPU battled back in the second half with some impressive long range bombs from behind the arc. At point in the second half they went on a 12 -2 run against Chaminade.

Chaminade was led by Freshman Caitlin Prager, she scored 17 points and grabbed 7 boards for the Silverswords. When asked about the game she said, " Although we lost tonight we played well as a team, we know what we have to do to come out with a win on Sunday. " CUH plays HPU for the fourth time this Sunday at 1:30PM, the game will be televised on OC 16.

HPU was led by Jocelyn Norris who scored 13 points and grabbed 16 boards for the Sea Warriors.

With the loss, the Silverswords fall to 0-17, 0-10 in the Pac West and Hawaii Pacific University improves to 4-15 and 4-6 in the Pac West conference. The next game for CUH is on February 3rd against HPU, tip off is set for 1:30PM and will be televised on OC 16.
