WBB: The Silverswords Lost to Dixie State University 92 to 46

St. George, UT, Malcom Forbes once said, "Victory is sweetest when you have known defeat" The Chaminade Women's basketball team took on Dixie State University and lost 92 to 46. They haven't won a game yet this year, however they have one more chance this season to capture that first win that has eluded them all year. CUH was led by Simrin Herrington ( Simrin Cummins) she scored 10 points and also had 10 boards for Chaminade. Senior Katherine Carlisle scored 14 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in the game. Felicia Alves also scored 8 points for the Silverwords. The Rebels were led by Jessica Carver who scored 12points and grabbed 6 points for Dixie State University. The Chaminade Women basketball team conclude their season this Saturday night, March 1st as they take Notre Dame de Namur in Belmont, CA. CUH falls to 0-24 overall and 0-17 in the Pacific West Conference. Dixie State University improves their record to 12-11 overall and 12-6 in the Pacific West Conference. Tip off against Notre Dame de Naumur is set for 5:30PM PST.
