Final Stats

ARKADELPHIA, Ark.--The Christian Brothers University Bucs earned their fourth straight win as they routed Henderson State 86-55 for their first-ever victory at HSU's Duke Wells Center Saturday night in Gulf South Conference West Division play.

The Bucs (15-9, 6-4 GSC West) built a 23-4 lead in the first 10 minutes, and they never let HSU (3-20, 0-10) come any closer than 16 points again as they rolled to an 86-55 win, only their third in 24 tries against HSU and their first in 12 games in Arkadelphia.

Junior center Nick Kohs (Cincinnati, Ohio/Lakota East HS) led the way with 22 points and 13 rebounds in 31 minutes, picking up his GSC-high 12th double-double. It was his third straight double-double and his eighth straight game with double-figure rebounds.

Junior guard Reggie Peyton (Memphis, Tenn./St. Benedict HS) had 18 points, eight rebounds, and three steals. Senior forward Kevin Weybright (Cincinnati, Ohio/Wyoming HS) scored seven points, as he was held under 10 for the first time since Feb. 23, 2006, a streak of 53 straight games. 11 of the Bucs' 12 players scored in the game.

Antoine Vinson led the Reddies with 13 points, while Jerome Wilson added 12.

The Bucs will be back in action Thursday night when they return to Arkadelphia to face Ouachita Baptist at 8 p.m.
