MEMPHIS--Christian Brothers University junior center Nick Kohs (Cincinnati, Ohio/Lakota East HS) has been named Gulf South Conference West Division Player of the Week for the second time this season.

He posted a pair of double-doubles as the Bucs moved into second place in the GSC West with wins at Ouachita Baptist and against Delta State. He also won Player of the Week Nov. 20 and once last year.

Kohs dominated much of Saturday's 76-61 win over Delta State as he scored 25 points and 11 rebounds with seven assists. He also had 12 points and 11 rebounds in Thursday night's 59-55 win at Ouachita Baptist.

Also, the Bucs remained 10th in the NCAA South Regional Rankings after the 2-0 week, the last of five GSC schools in the rankings. No. 19 North Alabama remains atop the region, while Harding climbed a spot to fifth. West Georgia entered the rankings at No. 8. Alabama-Huntsville dropped a spot to ninth, while the Bucs stayed 10th.

The Bucs finish the regular season with two key games. Tomorrow night they visit Arkansas-Monticello (15-10, 7-5), who is 11-1 at home, and they host Harding (15-10, 9-2) Saturday at 5 p.m. for Senior Day.
