MEMPHIS--Christian Brothers University senior forward Kevin Weybright (Cincinnati, Ohio/Wyoming HS) and junior center Nick Kohs (Cincinnati, Ohio/Lakota East HS) have been voted to the All-Gulf South Conference West Division First Team by the league's coaches.

Weybright, named to the First Team for the third consecutive year, averaged 18.0 points per game in the regular season to help the Bucs (19-9, 10-4 GSC West) claim their first-ever GSC West Division Co-Championship. Weybright is fourth in the GSC in scoring.

Kohs averaged 14.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, 4.6 assists, and 1.5 blocks per game. He leads the GSC and is ninth in the nation in rebounding. Kohs is also in the top five in the GSC in assists, blocks, and minutes played.

Kohs and Weybright were joined on the First Team by Harding forward Matt Hall, Ouachita Baptist forward Ed Keyes, and Arkansas Tech guard Darren Tarver.

Hall was named the GSC West Player of the Year for the third time, while Arkansas-Monticello's D'Angelo Dean was voted Freshman of the Year. Harding's Jeff Morgan was named the GSC West Coach of the Year.

Delta State guard Ernesto Green, Harding guard Trent Morgan, Henderson State guard Antoine Vinson, Ouachita Baptist forward Memo Rodriguez, and Arkansas Tech forward Jamar Flowers were named to the All-GSC West Second Team.

The Bucs will be back in action Friday night in the GSC Quarterfinals as they take on West Georgia. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. at the DeSoto Civic Center in Southaven.
