Lock Haven - Clarion University senior Erin Richard (Erie/McDowell) is the PSAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week.

Richard earned the award after being the top NCAA Division II finished at the Lock Haven Invitational placing second in a field of 116 runners. Her time of 20:59.32 topped the second-best Division II runner by over 34 seconds, and, along with West Virginia's Clara Grandt, she was the only other runner to finish under 21 minutes on the 6K course.

Erin's time was a personal best in the 6K by over a minute.

GOLDEN EAGLES NOTES - Richard is a 3-time track and field All-American (2007 indoor 5,000; 2007 outdoor 5,000 & 10,000) as well as a 7-time PSAC Track and Field Champion ... She finished 11th at Regionals in cross country last season.
