(New Castle, Pa.): Clarion University's Men's Golf team won the Westminster Invitational Tournament on October 1st at New Castle Country Club with a team score of 304.

Carnegie Mellon finished second with a 307 and California was third with a 315 team total. Eleven teams particpated in the event.

Sophomore Nick Sanner (Markleton) was second firing a one-under par 71.

Teammates Justin Moose (Sr. N. Huntingdon) and Jared Schmader (Fr. Cooperstown) shot 78's, while Justin Cameron (Jr. Punxsutawney) contributed an 81.

The Golden Eagles are next in action at Robert Morris on October 8-9.
