Clemson rising sophomore Casey Harman was selected as the starting pitcher for the North team in the New England Collegiate Baseball League All-Star game on Monday. Harman, who plays for Vermont, will represent the North division in the All-Star game that will be hosted by Torrington (CT) on Sunday at 6:00 PM.

In 32.0 innings pitched over six appearances (five starts), Harman has allowed just 19 hits (.168 opponents' batting average), one unearned run, and eight walks with 36 strikeouts. All 19 hits he has allowed have been singles. The lefthander has a 4-0 record and has not allowed a stolen base as well.

The South Burlington, VT native had a 3.89 ERA and 44 strikeouts against only 10 walks in 44.0 innings pitched over 27 appearances (two starts) as a freshman in 2008 at Clemson.
