Atlanta, GA - Clemson had four NCAA regional-qualifying performances on day two at the Georgia Tech Invitational, including the first-ever for red-shirt freshman Miller Moss. The Tigers now have 16 individuals who have qualified for regionals.

C.J. Spiller was runner-up in the 100m dash to Michael Ray Garvin of Florida State. Spiller ran a 10.43 on Saturday. Travis Padgett was fourth in the 200m dash, turning in a time of 20.92 seconds. Spiller had a time of 21.19 and was 12th overall. Trenton Guy (21.76) also competed in the 200m dash.

Moss added to Clemson's strong list of regional qualifiers. He posted a personal best time of 47.15 in the quarter mile, topping his previous best of 47.62 run last weekend in Clemson. Moss finished 14th in the field of 43 runners. Travis Swaggard (54.11) and Andrew Porter (54.40) ran the 400m hurdles Saturday afternoon.

The 4x400m relay team of Cowin Mills, Moss, Swaggard, and Porter competed and finished third place. The team put together a time of 3:11.11.

Josh Fowler was 13th in the triple jump Saturday. He posted a top mark of 48'10.25". He was Clemson's lone competitor in the field events on day two at the Georgia Tech Invitational.

The Tigers return to action in two weeks for the NCAA East Region Championships, which will be held in Tallahassee, FL.
