Vikings Hold Off Detroit, 60-56

CLEVELAND (AP) - J'Nathan Bullock scored 21 points and hit two critical free throws with 20 seconds left to lead Cleveland State past Detroit 60-56 on Saturday night.

With the Vikings (15-10, 8-5 Horizon League) holding onto a 57-56 lead, Bullock was fouled with 20 seconds left. He calmly hit both shots.

After Jon Goode missed a possible tying 3-pointer for the Titans (5-18, 1-12), Breyohn Watson rebounded for Cleveland State and was fouled. He added a free throw with six seconds left that clinched it.

Cedric Jackson added 13 points for the Vikings, who won despite being ourscored from the field. They hit 19 of 22 free throws to Detroit's 14 of 20.

Goode had 14 points, Nemanja Jokic 12 and Chris Hayes 10 for the Titans.
