HATTIESBURG, Mississippi (Ticker) -- Southern Mississippi freshman running back Antwain Easterling and freshman linebacker Ken Dailey have been suspended indefinitely, coach Larry Fedora announced on Tuesday.

Fedora said the two were suspended for a violation of team rules, but would not comment further.

Easterling, 20, carried 16 times for 85 yards last season, but did not play in the Golden Eagles' 31-21 loss to Cincinnati in the Papajohns.com Bowl on December 22.

Dailey did not play this season.
