San Francisco, Calif. - Devin Velasquez won the championship of the 157-pound bracket and Cal State Fullerton added a pair of seconds, two third-place finishes and a pair of fourths to their wrestling performance Saturday at the San Franciso State Open.

Velasquez won four decisions to capture his title in the event which had no team scoring.

Finishing second were Ryan Budd at 174 pounds and Adin Duenas at 141. Third-place trophies went to Andre Gonzalez at 125 and Todd Noel at 174 while C. J. Knowland was fourth at 165 and Andrew Rozario was fourth at 184.

Aaron Navarrette picked up the Coach Haddad Award for the most falls in the quickest amount of time. After losing his first match to former Titan Curtis Schurkamp, Navarrette rang up four consecutive pins -- in 5:03 over Kiyoshi Kawano of Cal State Bakersfield, in 3:33 over Johnny Cronan of Lassen College, in 1:30 over teammate Chase Everwine and in 3:28 over Adrian Rios of Grand Canyon -- before losing to Jose Hernandez of Menlo College, 3-2.

The Titans return to action Sunday (Feb. 3) with a tripleheader -- hosting Cal State Bakersfield and Menlo College around a CSUB-Menlo matchup.
