AMBLER, PA - The opening game of the Atlantic 10 Conference baseball series between Dayton and Temple originally scheduled for Friday has been postponed due to rain. UD and TU will now play a doubleheader Saturday at Noon.

Southeastern Pennsylvania has been hit with nearly two inches of steady rain since late on Thursday night. The storm system is expected to clear through the area on Friday evening to allow the teams to play under mostly cloudy skies and a high temperature of 66 degrees on Saturday.

Dayton will be taking part in its fifth Saturday doubleheader of the Atlantic 10 portion of its schedule. UD opened four straight A-10 series with Saturday twinbills and tallied a record of 5-3 in those games including sweeps of Saint Joseph's and George Washington to close out the stretch.
