WOESTE TIED FOR FIRST AFTER DAY ONE OF THE TITANS INVITE

PLYMOUTH, Mich. - Sophomore Chris Woeste is tied for first place overall after shooting a 72 and a 73 after the first two rounds of the Detroit Titans Invitational. Woeste's effort helped position the Flyers in contention for the team lead as well. UD shot rounds of 301 and 299 to finish day one in second overall. Senior Rob Chappell got back on track and is close behind Woeste with rounds of 72 and 75. Chappell is tied for third overall heading into the final round. Sophomore Jeff Hodapp bounced back from a first round 78 to match is season low of 73 in the second. Freshman Michael Oberschmidt continued his strong play with scores of 79 and 78, while senior Mitch Custenborder rounded out the scoring with rounds of 79 and 83. The third and final round will take place on Saturday, April 18 from the Golden Fox in Plymouth, Mich. |
