FLYERS DOWNED BY CLEVELAND STATE

CLEVELAND, Ohio - The University of Dayton Flyers men's tennis team suffered a sweep to defending Horizon League champion Cleveland State on Saturday in Cleveland, Ohio. Junior Michael Rohana took CSU's Phil Orno to three sets, but faltered in a 6-2, 1-6, 10-2 decision at No. 1 singles. Freshman Austin Wiegand entered the match winning seven out of his last eight singles contests, but was defeated Saturday by Rob Fox at No. 5 singles. Dayton will return to action on Friday, March 13 at 7 p.m. EST to host IUPUI at Dayton Center Courts. |
