HEAD COACH Jim Jabir

"We are not the kind of team that can just show up. We have to play really hard every day and every minute of every game. We are still learning how to do that."

On Duquesne's three-pointers in the second half :

"The problem with that is their point guard creates so many problems for us. They leave shooters out wide and she penetrates... we have to help in and then she finds shooters outside. We have to work on containing. Containing Kristi Little (Duquesne) was a hard task today."

On some of today's standout players :

"Casey Nance needs to play like this every day. And until she learns to play like this every day and learns how important she is to us, we are going to struggle."

"I thought she (Justine Raterman) struggled a little bit on her shot. They crowded her on post ups and she missed a lot of those, but she's a tough kid. She found a way to come back and help us win the game."

"A couple of pretty good shots didn't fall for her (Kristin Daugherty). She came back though and helped us in the end with some really key shots that were important for us. She hit that three...that was really huge."

"I'm real comfortable when Kendel (Ross) is out on the break. I think that things happen, but we do have to look up the floor a little bit more."

On Kristi Little's performance :

"Well nothing that kid does surprises me. I have so much respect for her. I think she is a great player and you know, we just have to close those things out better."

On the upcoming game at Charlotte on Saturday :

"They have a great post player and a bunch of athletes. It's going to be the same stuff again...boxing out, controlling boards. We got out-rebounded tonight and we have to become better at rebounding the basketball."
