DAYTON, Ohio - Dayton women's soccer goalkeeper Niki Reed has been named the Atlantic 10 Women's Soccer Player of the Week after recording two shutouts this past weekend. Tallying her sixth and seventh shutouts of the season against UMass and Rhode Island respectively, Reed moved into third place on UD's all-time list with a career total of 13. She also collected 11 saves on the weekend. It's the second time the Fairfield, Ohio native has earned A-10 weekly honors this year. She was also named the inaugural A-10 Player of the Week on September 4 after collecting 16 saves and two shutouts versus Cal Poly and Loyola Marymount. In addition, she holds a .78 goals against average and has made 46 saves so far this year. The Flyers (10-3-0, 4-1-0) will travel to Pittsburgh to face Duquesne Friday, October 12 at 7:30 p.m. ET and will take on St. Bonaventure Sunday, October 14 at 2:30 p.m. ET.
