DAYTON, Ohio - University of Dayton women's soccer midfielder Amanda Gallow was named to the 2007 CoSIDA Academic All-District Third Team announced Thursday. Gallow, a pre-physical therapy major, boasts a 3.91 cumulative GPA and is currently a member of the Dean's List and Atlantic 10 Commissioners' Honor Roll. The West Chester, Ohio native, who was named to the A-10 Academic All-Conference team last year, has collected a total of eight goals, four assists, and two game-winners as a Flyer. The district team is made up of student-athletes from Division I schools in Alabama, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and Tennessee. To be nominated, student-athletes must be a starter or important reserve, and carry a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher. Team members are selected by a vote of members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) within the district. |
