River Forest, Ill. - The Dominican University Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is sponsoring a Fan Appreciation night for the fans of Dominican's 11 varsity teams. The event will take place on Tuesday, February 12 as the Stars' men's basketball team takes on the Benedictine University Eagles.

The night will feature a t-shirt giveaway to the first 100 Dominican University fans through the doors as well as a halftime contests with prizes.

SAAC is a committee of student-athletes assembled to provide insight on the student-athlete experience on the Dominican University campus as well as all campuses throughout the NCAA Divisions I, II and III. The goal of the SAAC is to "enhance the total student-athlete experience by promoting opportunity, protecting student-athlete welfare and fostering a positive student-athlete image."
