Lindsay Brubaker joins the Dominican University softball program for the 2008 season. A member of the Concordia University Chicago Cougars softball team from 2001-2005, Brubaker served as a team captain and received honorable mention for the 2002 and 2004 Northern Illinois-Iowa Conference All-Conference Team. While with the Cougars, Brubaker served as a team captain as the team's starting centerfielder, posting a .296 batting average with a .915 fielding percentage her season senior season. At Resurrection High School in Chicago, Brubaker was a team captain of the softball team from 1997-2001, earning all-region and all-area special mention as well as being named to the all-conference academic team. Brubaker has logged coaching experience with the Glenview Junior Titans Softball club serving as coach and manager since 2005. Prior to that, Brubaker coached in Des Plaines Girls' Softball League serving as a coach and manager in the house league as well as for the traveling all-star team. |
