Duquesne University men's soccer coach Jake Ouimet recently announced that Alex Terry (Beech Creek, Pa./Central Mountain) has joined the team effective for the 2008 spring semester. Terry graduated from high school early and enrolled at Duquesne in January to get a jump start on his collegiate career. He participated in the spring workouts with the Dukes and will travel with the team to Europe in May.

"We are very pleased with how quickly Alex has adjusted to the college game," said Ouimet. "He is a strong, two-way player, who will compete for a starting position this fall."

Terry was a high school regional All-American and two-time All-State selection for the three-time league champion Wildcats. A two-year team captain, he was also a four-time First Team All-Conference choice. In club competition, he played for 2007 state champion, FC Delco.
