TEAM

  • East Carolina recorded its 10th win of the season, its most victories since winning 13 during the 2003-04 campaign.
  • ECU's 84 points were its third most points ever scored in a Conference USA game.
  • The Pirates set a school record by shooting 40 3-point field goals.
  • East Carolina made 15 3s for a second consecutive game. It was the fifth time this year that the Pirates made double digit 3s.
  • The Pirates snapped a five-game losing streak to the Cougars and improved to 2-5 all-time against UH. ECU is now 2-2 at home all-time against UH.
  • The Pirates have posted back-to-back C-USA victories for the first time since winning consecutive home games against Charlotte and Saint Louis during the 2004-05 season.
  • ECU won on senior day for a second consecutive season.
  • The Pirates' eight turnovers were its fewest of the year.
  • ECU distributed 20 or more assists for the fifth time this season.

    Senior Cory Farmer

  • Scored double figures for a second consecutive game and for the seventh time this season.

    Sophomore John Fields

  • Recorded his first double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 rebounds. It was the fourth of his career.
  • Blocked two shots to become the third player in school history to amass 100 career blocks. Fields has a two-year career total of 101.

    Junior Sam Hinnant

  • Tied his career-high by netting 30 points. He also netted 30 points in the Pirates' win over NC State earlier this season.
  • Made eight 3s to tie the school record for most 3s in game. He shares the record with three other players.
  • Set the school single game record for most 3-point field goal attempts with 16.
  • Moved into second place on the school's single season 3-point field goals made list with 68.

    Senior Darrell Jenkins

  • Distributed eight assists to break his own single season record for assists. He has tallied 170 assists this season, breaking his record of 166 assists a year ago.
  • Moved into third place on the school's career assists list with 336 career helpers.
