Final Stats

ELIZABETH CITY, NC-Virginia Union University's Katchona Johnson scored a game high 21 points as the Lady Panthers handed Elizabeth City State a 49-37 loss Sunday evening at the RL Vaughan Center.

The Lady Panthers win their first game of the year as they held ECSU to a season low 37 points in the contest. The Lady Vikings managed only 13 points in the second half and went to the free throw line only three times in the contest.

Ashley Hill rounded out the double figure scorers for Virginia Union with 12 points on four three-pointers.

Celeste Trahan collected a double-double of 14 points and 13 rebounds, the 78th of her career.
