DUDLEY, Mass. - Endicott College notched two more wins to its current six-game winning streak, downing Nichols College, 6-2, and 14-6, on Tuesday afternoon in Dudley, Massachusetts. Endicott is now 12-5 overall and 6-0 in conference play.

Endicott got on the board in the second inning, scoring one run off three hits. Freshman Ryan Janedy's (Malden, Mass.) double brought home senior Adam Labbe (Litchfield, Maine), who reached on a double of his own.

The Gulls added runs in the third and fourth off RBI singles by junior Brian Andersen (Grafton, Mass.) and senior Tom Warner (Contoocook, N.H.). Nichols got to within one, 3-2, with two runs off three hits in the bottom of fourth. Freshman Austin Martin (Wakefield, R.I.) led-off the inning with a single up the middle. Sophomore Alexander Montalto (Wilmington, Mass.) then singled to center field. Freshman Mathew Whitman (North Plainfield, N.J.) stepped to the plate and delivered a bases-clearing double.

The Gulls went on to score a pair of insurance runs in the sixth to earn the 6-2 game one victory. Janedy recorded his second RBI of the game with a ground-out to second that scored freshman Christopher Dominguez (Braintree, Mass.) from third. Warner drove in the other run with a single to right field, scoring Labbe.

Graduate student Erik Fields (Swampscott, Mass.) earned the victory on the mound for Endicott while senior Andrew Besegai (Plymouth, Mass.) suffered the loss.

Game two was all the Gulls as they scored at least one run in each of the first five innings. The Blue and Green got two runs in the first inning after two walks led to an RBI groundout by Dan Gomez (East Longmeadow, Mass.) and a SAC fly by Andersen. The Gulls led 3-0 after two innings of play until the visitors opened up with a seven run third inning. Eight hits including a home run by Luis Uribe (Boston, Mass.) and a combined four stolen bases led to a 10-0 lead for Endicott.

The Bison finally put runs up on the board as they scored three runs in the bottom of the third. Montalto had an RBI single after two walks in the inning and senior Parker Riley (Parkland, Pa.) had a two-run single to score Montalto and Besegai.

Endicott got those three runs back in the top of the fourth on two walks and two hits. After holding the Bison to no runs in the bottom of the fourth, the Gulls tacked on their final run of the game in the fifth to make the score 14-3.

The Bison scored three runs in the final inning as Montalto led off the inning with a single. Then four straight walks allowed two runs to score for the Bison. An RBI fielder's choice scored the sixth and final run for the Bison.

Endicott stole a total of 16 bases in the two-game sweep.
