BEVERLY, Mass. - Endicott College freshman outfielder Luis Uribe (Boston, Mass.) has been named The Commonwealth Coast Conference baseball Rookie of the Week, as announced by TCCC Commissioner Gregg Kaye on Monday afternoon.

Uribe pieced together an outstanding spring break trip at the plate for the Gulls, as the freshman batted .450 (9-for-20) and registered multiple hits in four of Endicott's seven games last week. In seven games played, Uribe scored five runs and tallied an impressive .538 on-base percentage as the Blue and Green posted a 3-4 weekly record.

On the season, Uribe is batting .429 with an RBI and seven runs scored. Luis and the Gulls are scheduled to return to action on Tuesday afternoon against Bridgewater State College; however field conditions may move or postpone the game between EC and BSC.
