Endicott lacrosse teams prepare to defend TCCC titles |

BEVERLY, Mass. - The Endicott College men's and women's lacrosse teams will begin play in the The Commonwealth Coast Conference Tournament starting Tuesday at Endicott Stadium in Beverly, Mass. The men's team will play at 4:00 p.m. versus Curry College, while the women's team goes against New England College at 7:00 p.m. Each Endicott club is trying to defend their title as the reigning TCCC Champion.
Both Endicott teams enter the Tournament as the number one seed after going undefeated in conference play during the regular season. The men finished 9-0 in the TCCC and 14-2 overall, while also ranked 14th in the nation. The women closed out the season at a perfect 10-0 in the TCCC and 12-5 overall.
Offensively the EC men were led by juniors Nick Cosco (Londonderry, N.H.) and Brandon Dube (Danvers, Mass.) who tied for the team-lead with 63 points. Cosco led the team with 45 goals, while Dube was tops in assists with 37. Both players tied to lead the TCCC in points per game, with Cosco leading the conference in goals per game and Dube number one in assists per game. Cosco also lead the TCCC in the very important game-winning goals category with four. On defense, sophomore goalkeeper Eric Hagarty (Sudbury, Mass.) was stellar in net for the Gulls all season. He compiled a 13-1 record while leading the conference in save percentage at .684.
The EC women were led on offense by sophomore Valerie Feldman (Albany, N.Y.) and freshman standout Kellie Cunningham (Derry, N.H.). Feldman had a team-high 46 goals, while Cunningham led the club in both assists (27) and points (70). Defensively, junior goalkeeper Molly Hamel (North Yarmouth, Maine) had an excellent regular season, finishing at 12-5 while ranking fourth in the TCCC in save percentage at .511.
