BEVERLY, Mass. - Sophomore guard Kaylin Burke (Leominster, Mass./Leominster) scored a team-high 14 points to lead Endicott College to a dominating TCCC win over Anna Maria, 96-39, on Wednesday night in the MacDonald Gymnasium.

The Amcats surprised the Gulls by taking an early 4-3 lead on back-to-back buckets by sophomore guard Julianna Eagles (Quincy, Mass./Fontbonne Academy). However the Blue and Green answered the early challenging by scoring eight-straight, including a strong put-back by forward Paris Sanders (Needham, Mass./Minuteman Tech) to give the home team an early cushion, 11-4.

Endicott would extend its lead 22 as a driving Jenna Consgrove (Sharon, Mass./Sharon) found Brittany Kelleher (Wakefield, Mass./Wakefield) alone underneath for an easy two. From there, EC raced out to a 20-3 run to close the half, entering the intermission with a 55-16 advantage.

The Gulls' hot hand continued into the second half as the Blue and Green shot nearly 50% (18-of-38) from the field in the final 20 minutes. Endicott used its size and strength down low all evening, dominating the points in the paint, 56-8. The Gulls' bench also played a pivotal role, as the EC reserves accounted for 70 total points in the victory.

Anna Maria (1-15, 0-4 TCCC) was led by Julianna Eagles' game-high 20 points. Eagles took 21 of the Amcats' 56 shots as she was 8-of-21 and 2-of-11 from behind the arc. Emily Nugent (Worcester, Mass./Doherty) had five points and three assists in the Amcat defeat.

Along with Burke, Endicott placed five players in double-figures. Rachel Bradley (Lynn, Mass./St. Mary's) had 12 points and three assists while Nicole Duchesne (Plaistow, N.H./Central Catholic) and Ashley Wright (Merrimack, N.H./Trinity) each had 11 in the win. Junior Nicole Young (Rockland, Mass./Cardinal Spellman) also contributed 10 points for the Gulls.

With the win, Endicott stays unbeaten in the TCCC with a 4-0 conference record (9-7 overall). Endicott returns to action on Saturday as they host Wentworth at 1:00 pm.
