As a freshman (2008): One of just two players to appear as both a position player and as a pitcher... Worked a spotless inning against New Jersey IT (3/20) at FAU Stadium... Also played second base against NJIT (3/20) and earlier in the year vs. Eastern Michigan (3/2).
High School: Prepped at Northern Valley Regional at Old Tappan... Four-year letterman, playing shortstop and earning first-team all-league honors as both a sophomore and senior... Led NVR at Old Tappan to a 28-0 start and 29-2 overall record his senior season... Named second-team all-county in 2007, leading Old Tappan to a state sectional championship title... That 2007 team is considered one of the best teams in New Jersey state history... Also a key member of Old Tappan's county championship team as a sophomore in 2005... Did not pitch in high school.
