BOCA RATON, FL - The Florida Atlantic men's soccer team recently played the Colorado Rapids of Major League Soccer and the University of Victoria as part of its spring scrimmage schedule.

The Owls tied the Rapids 0-0 in a match held at FAU Field. The Rapids are in preseason training getting ready for the upcoming MLS season. "It was a good match against a professional team," head coach Kos Donev said afterwards.

FAU defeated the University of Victoria, a Canadian collegiate squad 1-0 on a goal by Cameron Gordon-Forbes. The match was held at the Holiday Inn Soccer Complex in Sunrise.

The Owls will continue their spring schedule on Saturday, February 23 when they face another MLS squad, Real Salt Lake at 10 a.m. at the Holiday Inn Soccer Complex, 3003 N. University Drive in Sunrise.
