Diplomats Tabbed for Second by CC Coaches

Feb. 26, 2008

LANCASTER, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall's baseball team was picked to finish second in the Centennial Conference in a poll of the league's skippers. Johns Hopkins was selected to win the league, and earned seven of the ten first place votes. F&M, Gettysburg, and Haverford each picked up a single first place vote.

Franklin & Marshall finished the 2007 season at the top of the Centennial, but was bounced from the Conference Championship Tournament played out on Caplan Field. The Diplomats graduated just two players from their 2007 roster.

F&M's baseball season is set to get underway this weekend if the weather will allow it.
