Anno Competes At ECAC Championships

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Megan Hunter broke the school record in the 400m and 200m dash, while Alyssa Catalano and Kwaku Anno each placed in their respective events to lead the Franklin & Marshall indoor track & field teams at the 2008 Division III ECAC Championships at Harvard this weekend.

For the third time this season, Hunter broke her own school record in the 400m dash with a time of 58.55, replacing the old time of 59.77 for seventh place. She also took 10th in the 200m, resetting her record of 26.89 with a time of 26.38.

Catalano, who currently is ranked 12th in the nation in the weight throw, hit the distance of 14.98m for fifth overall. In the shot put, she threw 12.00m for seventh to total six points on the weekend for the Diplomats.

For the men, Anno competed in the long jump and took sixth place with a distance of 6.77m.
