Diplomats Join WBCA's "Think Pink" Initiative

Feb. 4, 2008

LANCASTER, Pa. - On February 12, the Franklin & Marshall women's basketball team will participate in the "Think Pink" program when they host Ursinus at 7 p.m. Admission is free with donations appreciated at the door. All proceeds from donations will go to the Kay Yow/Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Cancer Fund.

The WBCA's "Think Pink" initiative is a global, unified effort for the WBCA's nation of coaches to assist in raising breast cancer awareness on the court, across campuses, in communities and beyond. The week set aside for this year's initiative is February 8 - 17.

The Diplomats challenge fans to wear pink to the game in honor of breast cancer survivors and to help increase awareness.
