LANCASTER, Pa. - Jen Pritchard, a member of the Franklin & Marshall women's lacrosse team, has been named Lacrosse Magazine Division III Preseason Player of the Year.

Pritchard, a junior attacker, was an IWLCA/US Lacrosse First-Team All-American last year, led the Diplomats to an unbeaten NCAA championships season with resetting the school record for goals in a season with 77. She scored 19 goals in the four post-season games to win the NCAA Tournament's Most Outstanding Player. Pritchard was also named a First-Team All-American by Inside Lacrosse and WomensLacrosse.com, while being selected as Attacker of the Year.

F&M opens the 2008 campaign on March 4 at Rowan. Game time is 4 p.m.
