2011: After spending the summer on Team USA, the junior left-hander brings 21 career wins back for his third season as the Seminoles' No. 1 starter.

2010: Florida State's No. 1 starter throughout the season...recorded a 9-8 record with a 5.24 ERA, leading the team in wins, strikeouts (108) and innings pitched (111.2) for the second year in a row...ranked in the top 10 in the ACC in innings pitched (3rd), wins (t-3rd), strikeouts (4th) and games started (t-2nd)...recorded at least seven strikeouts in his first three starts...struck out seven over 7.0 innings in an opening day win over Georgia State... worked six shutout innings against Hofstra for his second was the first time in 17 career starts he did not yield a run...matched a career-high with nine strikeouts in a win over Georgia...allowed a career-high 11 hits in 6.0 innings against No. 1 Virginia and was saddled with the loss...struck out six, scattered six hits and allowed one run in a season-high 7.1 innings against Maryland for the win...bounced back from a loss to Virginia Tech with his fifth win of the season at Wake Forest...allowed a run on two hits in 7.0 innings of work, retiring 10 consecutive batters at one point...tossed a season-high 8.0 innings and picked up the win at Duke...suffered a loss against Miami despite striking out eight Hurricane batters over 5.1 innings...was touched for six runs on five hits...did not walk a batter in 5.0 innings against LeMoyne, but suffered the loss in a game suspended due to rain...suffered his fourth consecutive defeat at NC State, despite three hitless innings at the start...saddled with a no decision against Clemson, despite matching a career high with nine strikeouts...went 1-1 in the ACC Tournament for the champion Seminoles, suffering opening loss to Miami...yielded three homers in that game...rebounded with 3.1 shutout innings of relief - his first of the season - against NC State in the title game...allowed two hits and struck out four... earned his eighth victory in the NCAA Norwich Regional with 7.0-plus innings of solid work against Oregon...allowed three runs on 10 hits, but issued only one walk and struck out eight...made two appearances against Vanderbilt in the Super Regional...did not factor in the opening game start, despite working 4.2 innings...made his second relief appearance of the year in game 3 and hurled 3.1 innings...earned his ninth win despite yielding two runs...started the opening game of the College World Series against TCU...offensively contributed to the `Noles by batting .383 with six doubles and 11 RBI... made five starts at first base and two as the DH...finished second among Seminoles with two pinch hits...had three multi-hit games, including a 2 for 4 performance at JU when he drove in the game-winning run...had a three-run triple against Stetson which put FSU in front to stay...also went 3 for 3 against NC State...was error-free in five starts at first base...was the FSU DH in the final two College World Series games...was Preseason All-American by the NCBWA (1st) and Collegiate Baseball (3rd).

Baseball and third team All- American by the ABCA and Collegiate Baseball...consensus first team Freshman All- American receiving accolades from Baseball America, Collegiate Baseball, and Ping! Baseball...honored as the National Freshman Pitcher of the Year by the NCBWA... received first team ABCA All-Atlantic Region honors...earned first team All-ACC accolades becoming just the second freshman in Florida State history to earn such an honor (Jason Stidham, 3B, 2007)... capped off a fi ne freshman campaign posting a 12-3 record and a 3.49 ERA...led the ACC in wins and tied for the league lead in complete games with two...ranked third in the ACC in opponents' batting average (.221) and tied for third in innings pitched (98.0)...ranked nationally in wins (t-5th), hits allowed per nine innings (42nd) and ERA (96th)...made his Seminole debut in game two of a doubleheader against Hofstra - threw 6.0 innings allowing just one run on seven hits to pick up his first collegiate victory... struck out a career-high nine batters in his second start against Auburn...became the Seminoles Friday night starter just three weeks into the season - a spot he would not relinquish the rest of the season...threw 8.0 innings of three-hit ball in leading FSU to a 4-1 victory over Boston College in his Friday night debut...first of two complete games on the year came in a rain-shortened, six inning victory over Grambling State...allowed just one run on two hits while striking out six Tiger hitters...was masterful in a complete game victory over Georgia in the NCAA Tallahassee Regional, limiting the Bulldogs to two runs on five hits in 9.0 innings...showed great command of his pitches going to a three ball count just twice...finished the game with six strikeouts and did not walk a batter... tossed 6.0 innings to lead FSU past Boston College in the ACC Tournament his final start of the season, yielded two runs on four hits and withstood two lengthy rain delays in the Super Regional opener against Arkansas...had a 1-1 record with a save in three relief stints...credited with a one pitch save in his first relief appearance against Florida in Jacksonville, recording a lineout, double play at second to end the bottom of the fifth...the game was called after five innings due to rain...recorded 6+ innings in 11 starts, while notching six or more strikeouts eight times...was also productive at the plate hitting .600 in 10 at-bats...recorded two doubles, four RBI and four runs scored.

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-time all-league honoree (2006-08)...earned All-California Interscholastic Federation accolades in his first three seasons at Crespi Carmelite High School in Encino, posted a batting average of .350 or better...pitched in 22 games as a junior posting a record of 3-0 while setting the school record for career and singleseason saves with 10...registered 45 strikeouts while walking just 10 batters as a junior... participated in the National Classic Baseball Tournament in El Dorado High School in Placentia....named to the academic Honor Roll during his junior and senior years... drafted in the 31st round by the San Diego Padres in the 2008 MLB Draft.

PERSONAL: Son of Paul and JoAnna Gilmartin...spent the 2010 summer with Team USA, playing both a domestic and international schedule...posted a 2-1 record and a 4.35 ERA, striking out 14 over 10.1 innings...major is sport management...born on May 8, 1990.
