Local bands invited to be part of Nole Concert Series!

May 13, 2008

Are you an up and coming band looking for your chance to prove you've got what it takes to hit the big stage? Well, the Florida State Sports Marketing Department is looking for local bands, student bands or any other bands that would like to perform for thousands of Florida State fans prior to each home football game this Fall. Bands selected will perform at Seminole Village, which is a free corporate fan interactive area located just outside of Doak Campbell Stadium, two hours prior to kickoff of the game. Seminole Village attracts thousands of fans each game in providing interactive games for kids and many free giveaways, so it's a great opportunity for your band to perform in front of one of the largest venues in Tallahassee.

We are looking for bands that would appeal to a game day atmosphere and a crowd of students and families. A limited budget is available to pay bands. Bands will also receive tickets to the game, have opportunity to sell their merchandise and most importantly gain exposure unmatched at any other Tallahassee venue, as Florida State is home to over 40,000 students and over 80,000 fans pack Doak Campbell for each football game. FSU will promote the event heavily through the radio network, online and at other home events.

If your band is interested in appearing, please submit: a band bio, three references, a tape or video, as well as, availability of games (see below for schedule) by Friday, June 13, 2008 to address below.

Submit all information by June 13, 2008 to:
