GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Tuesday's Furman-Presbyterian baseball game, scheduled to be played at PC, has been postponed due to wet weather in the Upstate and will made up as part of a Wednesday doubleheader at Furman Stadium beginning at 4:00 p.m., it has been announced.
Furman, now 12-11 on the season, is expected to start senior right-hander Will Feemster (0-1, 6.23 ERA) in game one and freshman right-hander Chris Newell (0-2, 9.00 ERA) in game two.
Presbyterian, which sports a 7-15 season mark, is expected to also start a pair of right-handers, Ben Dollar (1-1, 6.82 ERA) and Eric Tatum (1-2, 6.86 ERA), in Wednesday's twinbill.
Furman and Presbyterian last met on the diamond in 1997. The series dates back to 1901 with Furman holding a 41-33-2 advantage.
